Don't want to sleep because the air still feels warm....it's the first true day of spring, despite being 11 days in....it's almost balmy outside and Acland St. finally feels like itself again, rather than the wind tunnel it's been for the past few wintery months.
Just home from a fantastic gig with Vocal Folds 4 and Suade, doing the a capella thing at Theatre Works......it was lots of fun, and it was so easy to set up and pack up when there were no instruments to load and tune up.
My "The Driving Song" film clip had just been posted on youtube, so we watched it on our iphones before we went on stage......i think i like it more on a little screen - it's a lot more flattering and a lot less confronting :)
It was really lovely to see so many friends and friendly faces again.
